Dr. Cvikl's fee is calculated according to the following billing types:
Fixed fee: This type of billing is mainly used for contracts in real estate law and is typically a fixed percentage of the purchase price. The amount of the percentage depends on the scope of the activities and any additional necessities (e.g. the need to obtain approval for the transaction from the land transfer authorities [German: Grundverkehrsbehörde] or the probate court [German: Verlassenschaftsgericht]).
Fees according to the Austrian Lawyer's Fees Act: This type of billing is mainly used for civil proceedings.
Hourly rate: This type of billing is suitable for specific contractual draftings (e.g. in corporate law, IT-law or inheritance law), administrative proceedings and some civil proceedings.
Dr. Cvikl will be happy to provide you with the fee and/or billing method on request. All fees are exclusive of VAT and cash expenses (e.g. court fees; German: Barauslagen).
An initial consultation of approximately 15 minutes (via telephone) is free. Please note that in this initial consultation Dr. Cvikl can only give you a brief overview of whether it makes sense to assert your claims or examine your case further. The lawyer's fees will also be discussed in the initial consultation.
